Constantinople is an Eau de Parfum from the English niche brand Penhaligon's. It is part of the Trade Routes collection, a luxurious journey around the world to discover the finest 19th century ingredients.

Before Istanbul got this name, it was Constantinople, the queen city. It was thought to be magical. Some columns were exploited by rubbing them on the sick to cure them, others to get the merchants to agree on prices, still others were capable of recognizing a woman of easy virtue from a virtuous one. Beliefs that may seem absurd to some but for the inhabitants of ancient Constantinople they were reality.

Constantinople is a stubborn and audacious fragrance, like the place that inspires it, marked by different achievements and cultures. Like the city, this Eau de Parfum contrasts fresh, spicy and floral notes with richer amber ones. Two worlds that meet in one perfume.
