Born from a sketch Starck made during a beach vacation in Italy, the Juicy Salif completely breaks with the traditional idea of a kitchen object. Its three long, slender legs and tapered body create a futuristic and instantly recognizable silhouette, transforming a simple utensil into a dramatic presence meant to be left on display.

Made of polished cast aluminum, the Juicy Salif is designed to squeeze citrus fruits but, above all, to bring an object rich in imagery, irony, and design culture into the kitchen. An absolute icon of the Alessi universe and one of Philippe Starck's most celebrated projects.
