Rosa Nigra by Filippo Sorcinelli is an extrait de parfum born as an olfactory paraphrase of the Assumption. A symbolic and deeply evocative fragrance, built around the image of the Virgin Mary ascending to heaven "in body and soul": a black rose, mysterious and spiritual, which is evoked in the composition despite not being actually present among the olfactory materials.
