Né il giorno né l’ora by Filippo Sorcinelli is an extrait de parfum from the UNUM collection, inspired by the parable of the ten virgins in the Gospel of Matthew. A fragrance that addresses the emotion of fear not as a simple absence of courage, but as the presence of what we most desire: freedom, the uncontrollable, the limit that dissolves into shadow.

The composition is built on a warm and enveloping subject, where sandalwood, tonka bean, amber, and musk create a soft, intense, and persistent base. In the counter-subject, the marine note meets jasmine, rose, and iris, giving the fragrance a tension suspended between cleanliness, restlessness, and floral delicacy. The tail introduces a brighter and more aromatic vibration, with lemon, bergamot, cardamom, galbanum, cedar, and lily of the valley, which open the composition with a fresh, green, and slightly spicy contrast.
