Opus XVI – Timber by Amouage is a tribute to nature's silent strength and the knowledge preserved through time. Part of the iconic Library Collection, this creation is inspired by the majestic Californian redwoods and the Boswellia trees of Oman, symbols of resilience, spirituality, and memory. An extraordinarily elegant woody fragrance, monumental yet surprisingly luminous.

The opening immediately reveals its character with the green freshness of cypress, the spicy energy of cardamom and pink pepper, the aromatic facet of juniper, and an unexpected touch of cocoa, which lends depth and softness. In the heart, mystical Hojari frankincense intertwines with the freshness of lavender and the resinous richness of fir balsam, evoking an ancient forest bathed in light. The base develops into a noble accord of palo santo, sandalwood, cedarwood, Bourbon vanilla, and patchouli, leaving a sophisticated, enveloping, and deeply contemplative trail.

Created as the sixteenth volume in the Library Collection, Opus XVI – Timber celebrates the ancestral bond between humans and trees: shelters, witnesses of time, and guardians of ancient knowledge.
